Blog #1 -> inquiry project!

Hello everyone!

Today I will be introducing my project for this semester!

I am doing an inquiry question and my question revolves around famous authors we are all familiar with! These authors can range from writers such as Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, Hemingway and many more, but I am more interested in the process of how these authors began writing their books and why their books had so much effect in society that we still know their names til this day. I am also interested in knowing how these authors became so popular in the first place, and how their ideologies about the world is still relevant to us today almost proving why we still know their names even after 100’s of years!

I also feel that for the world and community, this topic can effect us lots because as I previously mentioned, most of these authors thoughts and ideas are still circulated in our world, such as their ideologies and the way of their thinking, and I think that being able to identify why some words of authors changed the world, while others were either forgotten or not as impacting as those we know of today.

Hope you enjoy my topic and stick along for the full thing :)!

  1. Hello Negar,

    This is an interesting topic and I look forward to seeing your finished result. Napoleon once said, “There is no immortality, but the memory that is left in the minds of men”. You could do research on specific time periods to examine how their work and ideologies left an imprint and allow us to remember them hundreds of years later. You’ve also mentioned how their ideologies shape today’s society, you could provide examples on how their ideologies are still affecting us years later. Best of luck with your project, and I’m excited to see how it evolves over the coming months.
