Hi, my name is Frederick Han, and I am a ninth grade French immersion student and École Charles Best Secondary School. It is my first year in sicial responsibility, and I am looking forward to this program. I amm a sporty person, and I play many sports such as hockey, swimming, ski, snowboard, track and field, and surfing. My favourite subject at school is math. This is because I like the way that all the rules make sense, and it feels good to be able to learn one of the most fundemental ideas in the whole world.
- What is my favourite sport?
My favourite sport is hockey. I have played hockey for close to ten years now. When I just started playing, I was around the age of five but even before that, I had been skating since I was three. In hockey, we have different age groups to divide us up; Atom(age 9-10), Peewee(age 11-12), Bantam (age 13-14), and Midget(age 15-16). There are also skill levels for all of those age groups; A1 is the best, A2 is the second best, A3 is the third best, and C teams are for recreational players. Right now, I am in Bantam A2 as a second year because I am 14 years old.
- What are my hobbies?
One of my favourite things to do is to read. I own over five hundred books and I have read almost all of them twice. My favourite genres of books are fantasy, because of the diverse environments and creative ideas, action, because of the detailed fight scenes, and manga, because i love the art styles and the stories. I am currently reading a big ongoing series of books called The Legend Of Drizzt. It is a dungeons ans dragons series of over fifty plus novels that is about a dark elf named Drizzt. I rellay love the story and how big the series is. I believe that it started around the 1980’s and every year, the author writes a new book.
