Round Research # 1: Why Humans Engage in War for Religious Reasons.

Religion with wars has been going hand in hand for a very long time.  Warriors or enemies, prayers and offers sacrifices before wars hoping to defeat their opponents having God by their side. Religious causes of war include: the spread of faith, bringing back or rescuing believers that were once slaves, and avenging of impious acts done to believers (1). Wars become hard to end if both parties have the same potential. Every side will make sure they have won and may take a longer period for parties hardens their fighting from both sides. Once a combatant suffers losses, they’ll want to compensate and achieve more gains to justify the sacrifices that have been made. Militaries will not accept that they are  responsible for losing the battle, hence pressing to gain victory. Wars may become even more intense or serious if one party is loosing; it may use more tactics or getting reinforcement from other countries. Bringing the war to an end requires a new leader to be elected, because the people who started the war will be unwilling to admit that they were in the wrong. This may be difficult and may occur after the death of many(2). Most churches adhere to the rules about wars, the scripture clearly shows the destruction of war where the innocent had suffered. As God’s chosen people were commanded to enter the promise land they were forced to displace the others and this brought about wars. When wars occurs between the nations, the believers work hard in finding facts and reaction to those wars using scriptures (3).
