Blog Post #7: Reflection

a. What challenges did you overcome throughout this inquiry project? How did you go about
overcoming these challenges?

The challenges that I had to overcome throughout this inquiry project included finding different resources and finding sources that weren’t biased. To find different resources, I had to change the way I researched my question. This helped me find different sources and different things to write about and learn from. To find sources that weren’t biased, I tried to keep school based sources to a minimum and found sources that came from objective authors. For example, I tried to not use school websites or student blogs, as they could be biased in their opinion of school stress.

b. How did this inquiry change the way you think?

This inquiry changed the way I think about school stress because I learned more about the different causes and solutions. I also learned how many different resources there are to help students coping with school stress. All the research from my inquiry changed the way I think.

c. How did this investigation impact your future decisions?

This investigation helped me find tools to help myself and other students cope with school stress. It impacted my future decisions that I make within my school career, such as using the resources available to me to help cope, and to take time for myself outside of learning.

d. What impact will this investigation have on others locally and/or globally?

I hope this investigation will help others locally and globally to find different ways of coping with school stress. High school can be a scary and stressful time in our lives, but with the proper tools and support, we can thrive.
