My inquiry question is “what inspired pop music?”
2. Explain why this is a question of interest for you.
This is a question of interest for me because I have always admired music but especially the genre of pop. Pop is short for “popular music” which means it has many different styles of music in one genre. I am very interested in knowing how and what inspired pop music to be the biggest genre in gen z. This topic means a lot to me because I grew up listening to pop music and pop artists. I am also very invested in the latest charts, hits, artists, etc. I would also like to learn more about how some of the big mainstream pop artists write their songs, promote their work, and the production process. While I already know some information about pop music I am very excited and interested to learn more about this topic and see if I am capable of possibly creating my own song after learning about this topic.

I really like your question! Music is a big part of my life so learning about the history behind it is something I would really enjoy. I think it would be really cool if you talked about how other genres of music have affected, and still affect pop.

I love your question, because i am the biggest music fan in general, I am one of those people who always tends to have my headphones on, so I relate with you when you mention how much you love music!! Im wondering if you were going to possibly research about why, not just about like pop music, but why some of our generation is looking towards the older type of music. Is it because of influence from media, or influence from parents + peers?
