Hello, I’m Ceilidh Buizer and I am a grade 12 in Charles Best secondary school. Although I go to school in Coquitlam, I live in Mission which is about an hour away. Accordingly, I start every school day morning at 5:50 am and take the West Coast Express to school. To most people’s surprise I enjoy the commute, the train travels next to the Fraser River which creates a pretty nice view. Once I arrive in Coquitlam, I catch a bus to school to begin my academic day. After school, I tend to spend time with friends, whether it’s going to Tim Horton’s or the mall we always end up doing something. The time we spend after school is nice for relaxing after a long day. Afterward, I take the train back home, do homework, eat dinner, prepare for bed and then do it all again the next day.
During weekends and the occasional day off, I enjoy taking the mission bus and going thrifting. Thrifting is such an exciting experience because you never know what you’re going to find. Whether it’s something you were looking for or something you didn’t expect to like you’ll always find something. Another one of my hobbies is spending time with my loved ones, watching a movie with my family, or walking my dog, all this time is very valuable to me.
