1. I’ve started my lease on Murphy, and have helped train quite a few rescue horses that have come in.
2. We recently got a little white pony at the rescue, and I’ve helped him become desensitized to hand feeding which is a big success taking into consideration his abuse in the past. And I’ve also taught my leasehorse Murphy to ride bareback.
3. Some challenges have been with the horse I’m leasing Murphy since he’s previously wild, he can be really difficult to handle on the trails when I’m not with another horse, lately I’ve been taking him out alone and it’s been really difficult to handle him when he doesn’t cooperate.
4. Next I’m gonna continue my lease, and continue to help Murphy be better with trails, i’m also going to start training new horses that just arrived.
Hey Stella,
I’m thrilled you have the opportunity to help horses! It’s fantastic how you’ve trained Murphy to ride bareback and help calm his fear from abuse. Hopefully, you have even more success with taking him on the trails next time. Other than that, best of luck with the new horses that you are going to train.

Hi Stella,
I loved reading your post so much because I love animals, especially horses. I’ve always wanted to ride one, but never got the chance to, so it’s nice to hear about your experiences. Murphy seems like an amazing horse and I would love to hear more about the bonds you share together. Looking forward to read your future blog posts!
