Hi everyone!
My name is Helene and I am currently an exchange student from Germany living in Nova Scotia, Canada 🙂 I am sixteen years old and attending 10th grade on Middleton Regional High School!
I am very interested in politics and also think about being a politician one day! Especially topics as sexism or racism touch me and make me want to change something immediately.
The reason that brought me to Butterfly was simply a project in our science course. There we had the chance to sign up what I obviously did 🙂 I hope that Butterfly or the other students, so you, can help me to improve my writing and overall become confident with overpopulation, the topic I’ll write my essay about.

it’s so cool that you came to Canada from Germany! This year I’ve met so many exchange students or new students who moved here from different countries. I hope you enjoy Canada! I’m also very interested in the topics of racism and sexism as they are still rooted deeply in our society. I also wish I could change these issues immediately so everyone can be treated more equally and to eliminate the discrimination people face. That sounds like a very interesting topic to research and I look forward to seeing more posts from you.
