My Role Models

My first role model is Barack Obama because he was the first black president of  the United States of America. He was also the one who arranged the death of the terrorist Osama Bin Laden. Obama also ended the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Obama also helped people when he dropped taxes for the poor and increased the taxes for the rich. He also passed healthcare reform, which were both intended to help poor people. He saved the auto industries from financial  loss but he also raised the fuel efficiency standard. He is my role model because of everything he did, he did to help people. He was also a very peaceful person because he ended wars in countries.

My second role model is Jackie Chan. He is the best  movie star in history. He had great achievements. He acted in more than two hundred movies. What makes him a unique actor is that he acts his own stunts. There have been more than ten times he almost died while filming. He has two awards from the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ for the actor with the most movies and the actor in the most comedy action movies. My favourite Jackie Chan movie is the ‘Legend of the Drunken Master’. He is my role model because he generously donates some of his money to charity. I look up to him because one day I would like to be able to do martial arts like he does.

My other role model is Lupita Nyong’o because she is the first Kenyan to be featured in Marvel movies. She has acted in a lot of Hollywood movies. 

I also love Lupita Nyong’o’s fashion. She says that she still loves to look fashionable even though she is black. I like three of her quotes: the first is “what I’ve learned from myself is that I don’t have to be anybody else, myself is good enough”. The other is that “no matter where you are from dreams are valid”. The other one is “never be shy of black beauty”.  

She is my role model because she is a good actor. She is also my favourite actor in marvel. My favourite movie is the Black Panther.
