Hello everyone, welcome to my second action blog post, where I will be addressing the following questions:
1.) Provide a summary of the action you are planning and how are you going to start.
I started my action in September as the Model United Nations club president. Through a summer of hard work and extensive planning, we have had immense success as a club, though numbers have recently begun to diminish. The CBSSMUN club meets every Thursday after school in room 606, where me and two other co-presidents will be helping delegates prepare for MUN conferences, public speaking, and to become more diplomatic! Through a balanced mixture of complicated politics like the Canadian Cabinet on the Issue of American Tarrifs, to very fun and relax topics like Avengers: End Game, we try our best to provide our delegates a fun experience while improving their public speech abilities and their diplomacy. As per my role requests, I work very hard to come up with interesting topics, background guides, and country matrixes every Monday around 7:00PM. When near conference dates I work tirelessly with the other co-leaders to ensure a smooth experience and a fun time for everyone involved.

(Sorry but I think I lost the picture on my phone)
2.) One lesson in the talk is that ‘Everything is complicated’. Can you explain some of the complexity that you will face in your action?
My action is complex as it requires me to both demonstrate my leadership capabilities, organizational capabilities and lead by example to show everyone how to be more diplomatic and improve at public speaking. As I have already started this action, I have already encountered difficulties, from the limited time that I have to complete a detailed background guide, to the stressful situation I often find myself in when things don’t go exactly to plan and some delegates might be late for their conference, to one of my delegates hotel room keycard being taken away by someone else, and to help them get into their hotel room while sorting the room dispute… Moreover, while leading everyone as head delegate, I will also have to try my best to bring home awards to set examples for others. It would not be unfair to say I am stressed out most of the time haha.
3.) Is this action sustainable? Provide some specific examples to support your reasoning.
While the action is not directly sustainable, it would be sustainable in the long term as I help others improve their public speaking abilities to be more comfortable speaking to others and in front of crowds, to possibly inspire people to be more politically active to help make the world a better place, therefore it would be fair to say while it is not environmentally sustainable, it is socially, politically, and economically sustainable, which would hopefully leads to future sustainability as my delegates pursue their passion after highschool.
As people become more socially and politically sustainable by understanding the world and staying on top of everything, inspiring themselves and others around them to live a more sustainable and environmentally friendly life. Specific examples may include participating in local elections to choose the more environmentally friendly candidate, to run locally as an environmentally friendly candidate, or even joining the UN to make the world more environmentally friendly through its projects.

4.) Is this action providing opportunity? How will you ensure you are making the positive impact that you intend?
This action provides the opportunity for people to explore a possible career if they are a right fit for it, or for those people who are looking to improve their public speaking abilities to do so as well. I ensure that I am making the positive impact I intend by constant communication with club members and the co-leaders of the club, asking for feedbacks and areas where we can improve and do better. While at the same time I try to tailor each and every topic and committee to help people improve with certain aspects of their public speaking skills or their involvement of the world around them.
