For those who are new here my action is collecting bottles, then recycling them at return it depo and then taking that money and donating to the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC. So far, I have recycled my own bottles, one of my partners recycled their bottles and the other has recycled some bottles that we picked up from a local park. We would have liked to pick up and collect more littered bottles sadly the snow here in BC has stopped us. However, this is not a big problem since we have collected sufficient bottles.
All together we have made 61.85$
Donating to the Wildlife Rescue Association of BC helps animals who are hurt by giving them a second chance at life, which is especially important during winter:
“As winter sets in, wildlife faces severe challenges – from dwindling food supplies and freezing temperatures to ice-covered water sources. Your generous gift can help provide critical care for these vulnerable animals, offering them the resources they need to survive and recover. With your help, injured wildlife can return to the wild.” (1)
We made 61 dollars, and I donated 4 dollars to the cause so we could provide bird rescue gear which is 65 dollars.

Hi Zoe! I love what you’re doing with this project and the fact that you are not only helping the environment by recycling but also supporting wildlife rescue. I also love how you added an extra four dollars to hit the $65 mark for bird rescue gear. A small suggestion is that you can perhaps include a bit more about your own personal experience with this action project. Keep up the good work!
