About me Monica Wanjiku!

I go by the name Monicah Wanjiku and I am sixteen years old. Iam the third born, in our family, we are four in total. I live in Sweet Waters in Laikipia County, Kenya. Additionally I come from the central side of Kenya, under the beautiful slopes of Mt Kenya.

I school in Loise Nanyuki Girls which is located at the foot of Mount Kenya. It is among the best schools both in academics and co-curricular activities. This is because teachers are committed to their work hence encouraging team work. Learning is enjoyable since the environment is conducive. The ambience is breathtaking because of the long ever-green trees forming a canopy at the top.

Additionally,   I take part in co-curricular activities. I enjoy playing football and handballs because they are interesting. I remember vividly during one of our tournaments we emerged champions. As the old adage states, ‘a good dog deserver a bone we were awarded a golden trophy.’ Being the captain, I was awarded in front of many people. Tears of joy rolled down my cheeks forming a wonderful figure eleven.

Moreover, I love and enjoy learning sciences because they are interesting. When I grow up I aspire to be a scientist. Being a scientist will enable me to transform our world in becoming a better place to dwell in. In our day to day life, many unknown different diseases are emerging and have no cure. The race is terribly suffering and others dying from these diseases. If I become an International scientist, I would come up with the cure to fight these diseases.
