Hello! I am glad to share a little about myself with you. My name is Ian Joseph Waruru, and I am sixteen years old. I come from a family of five—one sibling, an older sister, and my two parents. I am a student at Thome Boys High School. My country is Kenya, and I am very patriotic. Laikipia County, Chuma Village, is my home area.
My passion is to become a scientist and come up with new ideas in the field of Electricity and Magnetism. I joined the Butterfly Effect program with the hope of making inventions in these areas through research. My dream is to contribute to advancements in that field.
If I could solve any global problem, I would be so excited. For instance, HIV/AIDS has killed many people, leaving behind those in poverty, orphans, and even single parents. I could research an antidote and donate it to all countries worldwide. I would have saved thousands of lives. Sometimes when I want to relax, I normally watch action or romantic movies to free up my mind. When I am in school, I join the football club. I play as a midfielder, position eight.
One of my greatest heroes is Isaac Newton, who discovered all about force through invention. In my dream career, I want to invent more theories and prove them to other students and the community.
When I grow up, I want to be a professor by studying a career in Electricity and Magnetism. I am pursuing knowledge in those areas and advancing technology to another level together with the world. I would like to be popular worldwide through these fields. Your feedback would be greatly valued.
Well, that’s absolutely nice, currently we have many global pandemics which need to be addressed. Women empowerment could be the first step to solving poverty among many other issues.
