Isabella’s Blog Post #1

Hi there! Here are some ideas for the first part of my story:

  • The protagonist of this story is going to be a girl named Eve.
  • She is sixteen years old and is curious and slightly rebellious.
  • Due to her mother’s job, they have to move from the city to a tiny town near the waters.
  • She hates this idea, as she has to leave behind her friends and her close family.
  • They pack up their belongings and set up for the twelve-hour road trip.
  • After a long and silent car ride, they arrive.
  • Her mother buys a tiny cabin just a few feet away from the sea, and although the town is nearly empty, there are a few locals who are welcoming and kind.
  • As Eve’s mother settles into her work, Eve goes on with her life.
  •  One day when Eve is unable to sleep, she hears a strange, gentle melody that seems to have come from the sea.
  • The sound creeps her out, but it also calms her down somehow and pulls her into a deep sleep.
  • She dreams about something mysterious and interesting that she could not particularly remember.
  • The next morning, she wonders if it was her imagination and brushes it off. However, she is able to hear this mysterious sound every night.

How I felt when brainstorming ideas for my story:

During the process of brainstorming my ideas for the story, I experienced both excitement and frustration. Sometimes, I could feel a rush of excitement as I thought about all the different possibilities my story could take. However, there were also times when I felt a bit frustrated trying to organize these thoughts and ideas.

Thank you for reading! 😊
