My name is Kiara and I am in grade 12. I attend Dr. Charles Best secondary school and this is my fourth year taking the IDS course. My favourite school subject is Spanish.
What might surprise others is that I had/have four geckos so far. The first one died after five years and the second one died after one month. Currently, I have two still alive. My strongest trait is being logical/strong-minded. It is difficult for me to listen/believe anything that I know is not true or lacks evidence. This can be helpful when there is so much negative and false information around. However, sometimes this causes me to become close-minded and not take in other ideas.
If I could solve any global issue it would be animal abuse. This is because I like animals and think that it is unfair for them to be abused when they do not have a voice to speak up about anything. I believe that is why humans should step up more to solve this issue. I take care of my skin and hair to relax. I feel relief when my skincare and haircare is done. It makes me feel more put together and relaxed.
