blog post 7 where to go from here ?

After the previous talks on the dangers of radicalization, I feel like its about time to look back on radicalization as a whole across my inquiry project and provide a great case as to why its good to spread your wings and try out some of the political sides that, in the past, you may haven’t seen fairly.

I looked into so many different political views in the making of this project. From looking into the alt rights hostility towards outsiders, to the extreme lefts views of punishing those who get rewarded more for more work put in. So I will give you my final thoughts on the difficulties and nuances revolving around expanding your poitical horizons if you choose to go on your own journey.

Overcoming a number of obstacles, including identity crises, societal pressure, cognitive dissonance, and emotional connection, is necessary in order to inquire about self-deradicalization. Education, critical thinking, support networks, therapy, community involvement, and seeing successful deradicalization models can all be used to address these issues. This technique promotes a more accepting and understanding mentality in addition to assisting with personal development.

One’s thinking may be profoundly changed by researching political deradicalization since it can increase conversation, widen viewpoints, foster empathy, lessen polarization, and improve one’s ability to critically evaluate political language and media content. This change inspires people to look for trustworthy information, foster tolerance, participate actively in local and governmental processes, and see early indicators of radicalization so that prompt intervention may be sought. These investigations have an effect on local and global societies in addition to the individual. On a local level, it promotes peace among neighbors, lessens conflict, creates support systems, and strengthens educational programs. It contributes to a more tolerant and inclusive society on a global scale by fostering cross-cultural understanding, reducing extremism, fostering international collaboration, and bolstering peace and stability.

Overall, I think its about time to take a chill pill and view others more equally and see their political views or ideals less different than your own. I feel like my work here has helped more people understand how they can be accepting towards others even if they have their differences. Who knows ? Maybe you can help out and become the changes you feel like our country is needing.
