In my last blog post for this school year I will be reflecting on the research I have conducted and the information and lessons I have learned.
- I found it challenging to not be biased while conducting my research. Throughout my life I have participated in many team sports, but my involvement in individiual sports has been limited. This affected some of my posts, as I realized I was spending more time on highlighting the benefits of team sports, while neglecting individual sports and the lessons one can learn from them. To overcome this I made sure to get the opinions of others that have played individual sports and included their information in my post.
2. This inquiry reinstated my love and appreciation for team sports. I learned more about the affect team sports can have on children and how the life lessons they learn during their childhood sports can affect the way they live and act later on in their life.
3. In the future I might try out more individual sports as this inquiry project introduced me to the pros of this different type of sport. I will try and explore individual sports and take the life lessons I learn from these sports to help me in different aspects of my life.
4. Hopefully, this research will encourage others to join team sports and understand the importance of having the environment and community that team sports provide. Children need a space where they can express themselves and feel comfortable/socialize with one another. Team sports provide this unique environement and I hope that through my research others are able to see and understand this!!
Thank you for reading my blog!
