ABOUT ME: CLARE WANGARI

Hey, my name is Clare Wangari. Am fifteen years old. Am from Marura community just near Ol Pejeta Conservancy. I am a first born in a family of three. I have two brother. I studied in Matanya Primary school and joined Loise Nanyuki Girls High School. In my free time, I like watching movies ,especially ”Hindu Movies”. I also like listening to people stories who made it in life after going through many challenges. These type of stories really encourages me that, I can still make it in life ,through determination and hardwork Here in school, am in Taekwondo club .It is so enjoyable and also teaches us how to protect ourselves incase of any harm. I like eating chapati mostly when my lovely mum prepare it for me. For me I want to continue working hard and get a B+ in my KCSE Examination. Am really working for it. Here at school , I study about eleven subject. I study all science. My favourite subject are sciences, history and languages. These subjects means a lot for us because we are able to know the origin of earth and the solar system, origin of human beings and also by studying these subjects we get knowledge which will help us in our daily live. After form four, I would like to study law in University Of Nairobi . It is my wish to there because my lovely aunt studied there .She study for about seven years and she is now a doctor. And another reason to why I want to study there, is because our president Dr. William Ruto studied there and become a doctor. I like the way he worked hard and now he is a successful man. He is role model. I would like to become a lawyer. It is my dream that one day I will be lawyer Clare and make life better for myself, my family, my community and the world.

I am also the first born with a younger sibling! What types of “Hindu movies” do you enjoy watching? I too enjoy watching Bollywood movies in my free time, and love all the music in them! I am so impressed by your goals and your determination to reach them. I truly hope your exams go well and your hard work pays off in order for you to become a lawyer! A question I have for you is, if you could research any topic related to the field of Law and Social Justice, what question would you want to research? And what got you interested in law in the first place?
