Hey everyone, my name is Mary from Loise Nanyuki Girls and I am in form two. I live in Segera, Laikipia county. I am sixteen years old. I am from a family of five and am the third born. One of my hobby is farming. In school, I water the flower beds to make them more beautiful. My favourite subjects are Geography and Swahili. In Geography, I like the topics about volcanicity and the formations of fold mountains.
My favourite colour is purple, and sometimes pink. I like purplish cloths and gifts. I have a pet cat named Tally. I like listening to music most of the time during the holidays after finishing my assignments.
I have two brothers and two sisters. My sister and I are the only one’s left in school. I am trying my best to score a ‘B’ grade and above in my KCSE exams. I aspire to be a role model to my younger sister and the other young girls in my community. In future, I would like to be a journalist. This journey has begun with me joining the journalism club in our school.
Hi Mary,
Great blog post!
I find it beautiful that you water your schools flower beds and contribute to your school environment. I liked learning about your favorite subjects, and though at first I did not know what Swahili was, after some research I learned that it is a language, which I am now fascinated to learn more about!
I also love listening to music whenever I can! I was wondering what are some of your favorite songs to listen to ? Is there a certain genre of music you love?
I find your love for journalism quite intriguing and cannot wait to see where it takes you!
I hope you achieve the score you want in the KCSE exam, and I’m excited to read more of your blog posts soon!
