  1. Hello, Shelmith!

I enjoy reading your posts! We have several things in common! I enjoy watching movies and painting in my leisure time, but I don’t participate in many sports other than badminton. I’ve never studied law before, but it seems fascinating. What do you enjoy about the law? I appreciate how you indicated that learning is your motivation; few individuals today have the drive to strive to make a difference in their community and the world as a whole, which is why I hope you will continue to follow your goals by this program.

I’m looking forward to reading your future postings!

  3. Hi Shelmith Amani,

I loved learning more about you. I love to watch movies and books during my free time as well. For example, I love reading books like “It Ends with Us”, “Five Feet Apart” and “Reminders of Him”. I also love watching movies like “The Notebook”, “The Hunger Games” and “The Vow”. This free time helps me to focus on my mental health, which will help me not get burnt out. I also love studying law too, since it helps me understand how to help the Indigenous community more. Indigenous community plays an important role in Canadian society, so it is important to incorporate them into our community. I love dogs, but I fear them, so it is my goal to not fear them! I also love the internet world because it helps me to study more effectively and enjoy my life with movies and calling my friends. I love that you want to help your community and pursue law. I hope you succeed by being as brave as Wangari Maathai. Some questions I have for you are: what is your favorite website on the internet? What are your favorite movies and books? What do you like to draw? Who are your other role models other than Martha Koome and Wangari Maathai?
