My name is Elena Kagure and I was born in the year 2008, in Nyeri but raised in a village called Mitero. When I was about four years old I joined a primary school around my community and there is where I completed my primary education. After primary education I joined Loise Nanyuki girls at secondary level. This is one of the best performing schools in Kenya.
Moreover, my hobby is singing and dancing which help me exercise my body.Through singing, I have attended many music festivals and brought back awards to our school .Example last year we attended The Maseno University music festivals.
Additionally, I want to be a civil engineer and study at Oxford.The reason as to why I am interested in pursuing this career is because of the poor infrastructure. My locality, Mitero, has very poor roads. Is for this reason I aspire to be one of the best civil engineers in the world, and change my country and county at large by providing the necessary requirements. That’s why I work hard towards achieving my goals both in academics and co-curricular activities.
