Blog #7 -> Reflection

Through my inquiry project, I had difficulty being able to find answers that were different from each other because most of my research was found from only a few articles and this caused me to not be able to find different professional opinions, for me this was important because depending on the question I asked, some are continuing to be researched, so the answers can differ. I wanted to have different point of views and in order to do this, I had to keep on changing my questions and rephrasing them to find the information I was looking for, and doing this not only was I able to find more facts about my question as well as information that is very relevant to my actual sub-questions within my inquiry project!

Because I have such a love for coffee, and caffeine itself I wanted to research the effects it would have on young people, such as myself, and what I found was that an excessive amount is not good for one, which was something I knew from before, but something that fully changed the way I thought was that if someone (like me) who drinks coffee more than the regulated amount, they are in risks of cancers, depression, and many more other illnesses and mental illnesses as well. This caught my attention by lots because I want to be able to take good care of my body, and being able to research this question was able to show me how caffeine actually damages my body, if it is drinked in the unregulated amount. That is something that from this inquiry changed the way I thought.

This inquiry has caused me to regulate my caffeine drinking. After all, I want to make sure that I can keep my body healthy because I am an avid coffee drinker. This means that I will try my best to not fully cut, but regulate the amount I drink because by doing this I am both able to enjoy the drink that I sometimes over-drink, and be able to keep my body healthy for the future!

I am sure that others like me are very addicted to coffee, and to be able to drink coffee, and enjoy it, WHILE making sure that it is not harming your body I feel is information any coffee lover would want to know because drinking caffeine and coffee is a way for many to release stress, and creativity through coffee because there are so many different types and variations! On a global and local level, other coffee lovers knowing the right amounts, the facts and the harms that their favourite drink may have is important, and because over-drinking caffeine is so normalized in society, it is especially important for people to know the real facts about what could happen if people are not careful about how much coffee they may be drinking. This is why I feel that it is important for the world to know about my research!

Thank you to everyone who followed me alongside my journey through this inquiry questions!

Peace out 🙂
