Hi I’m Dara and welcome to my 5th blog post! A quick recap of what me and other classmate are doing for this semester, our plan Is to teach younger kids about recycling and the importance of recycling properly. Going to elementary schools and putting together a short presentation as well as small fun activity. We have almost everything done except going to the schools are left to do.
Our presentation has come out perfectly and think its not too long or short but a nice eye catching and engaging presentation.
For our activities we plan on making it a competition between each kid to separate the recycling after the presentation is done to see who listened and will get a prize at the end. The prize could be anything from a piece of candy to a small toy.
For us what took a long tome was to get the dates done and have an agreement with the elementary. Me and my other classmates found it easier to contact our old elementary schools because they responded right away. We finally have our date down and will be going next week!
Finally, all we have left is to do is go to the elementary school which we have our date down! And see how we can improve and how it ends up working out. This will help us to get the experience of how the teaching for younger kids are compared to older kids.
-Thanks for reading my blog post!
