I am Annet Wanjugu. I live in Marura village, Nanyuki together with my parents and siblings. I am in form two in Loise Nanyuki Girls. Our school is located at Nanyuki, Laikipia County. I love Mathematics a lot because it makes me jog my mind making me not to be dull. I also love Biology a lot. I am a Kikuyu and in my culture, everyone ought to respect each other and also help each other.
I love dancing. I also spend my leisure time reading story books, drawing or calligraphing. In the field, I am good in football and volleyball. I would like to go beyond for competitions.
When I will be done with my high school studies, I would like to join the University of Nairobi to pursue a course in medicine specializing in cardiology. This is because I want to help my Kenyan people who find it difficult to go to other countries to be treated for heart diseases due to fewer cardiologists in the country.
Hi Annet,
Amazing blog post!
I love how you talked about all your hobbies and activities you enjoy partaking in, I feel like I get to know you a little better this way!
I also really like mathematics, even though it’s challenging sometimes I find it fun to do, and as you said it makes my mind jog a little 🙂
I find it amazing that you partake in different sports but also do arts such as drawing and calligraphing.
I also enjoy reading, and I love that we have that in common!
I was wondering what are some of your favorite books you have read? Or what genre of books you enjoy reading the most?
I think your goal to help your people is very beautiful and noble, and I have no doubt you will reach all your goals!
I look forward to reading more of your blog posts soon!

Hi Annet,
This is an amazing blog post! Very interesting and I loved getting to know you. You have a beautiful story. I love how you are looking to be a cardiologists doctor. Since there are very few. I can’t wait to read your future blog post!
HI Annet!
You sound like such a productive and fun person! Like you, I also enjoy biology because you cannot only learn about the body, but plants, animals, and the process of the body as well! It is such a broad and fun topic, you can research and learn anything! I’m sure with the hobbies and activities you do, you can pursue medicine with a focus on cardiology without any trouble, as you seem like a very smart and determined person!
Good luck with your plans! I am sure you will not have any trouble because of how passionate you sound about becoming a cardiologist, and I hope to read your other blog posts later in the future!
Good luck!!!!
