My Plan Of Action

Hey guys, today I am going to discuss my action in more detail. There are two main topics I feel are the root of my action: the power of information, and global differences in education. I still don’t know exactly how I want to approach this. The educational system, in my opinion, is a highly controversial issue. There is a global lack of schooling in some countries, some schools have been unlucky in the world, and teachers are underpaid for the work they do. These days, knowledge is crucial, and it might be intimidating to constantly feel you have to be the best all of the time. I therefore want my action to involve educating children through connections.

Once again, the school system and all of its components are controversial, which I feel will be my obstacle. Every school system across the globe is different. it is all dependent on a whole bunch of different factors such as location, resources, and specific challenges faced by the institution, which raises complications. My questions are since every person is unique, how do you convince them to listen to you, and will they understand what you are saying? Should all schools be treated equally, if they are all different?

Although I might have some obstacles I feel as though helping schools can be sustainable. School is a very memorable place. We spend a lot of time in school, about 5% of our lives, therefore the connection you make there can last a lifetime. School will never go away; it is an institution that is built on education for our future generation.

Nothing about my actions is intended to be negative, I don’t want to force kids to do something they really don’t want to do. My job and action is to educate kids about education and why we have it in place. School isn’t intended to be negative although, over thousands of years, I feel that it has become one of the most dreadful places. I hope that I can help others to see that it’s not completely a bad place and with knowledge you can help the world outside of that.

I have a family friend who works in the school system she is an EA, and she knows a lot about the school system she will be helping me with my action. She has also worked in many schools and knows how the school system works.

Thank you for reading my blog and if you have any suggestions please reach out it would be greatly appreciated.

  1. Hi Veronica,

I think that your action topic is really interesting. I had no idea that we spend 5% of our lives in school. I agree with you that knowledge and education are very important in all aspects of our lives and I think that your plan of action sounds very promising. I’m excited to follow along and keep up with your project.

    Good luck!

  2. hi Veronica

I love your topic. I love the way that you want to help people perceive school as positive not negative. I think perspective Is so crucial in our will power to do something and our overall enjoyment of an activity. I think it would be really interesting to do a survey on what percent of kids enjoy school in different school environments to help see which one seems to be the most positive.
    good luck with your research

  3. Hi Veroncia!

I am also doing an action project on the topic of educational systems in our community. I love that you expanded your question to a more global perspective. It makes me wonder how our school system is viewed by those less fortunate countries and what would happen if they were given the same resources we have, where would our society be today? I found an article I am using for my research and hope this can help you as well! It explains how different country’s school days go so we can better compare them.
