Blog post #2 Inquiry

Hello everyone. In this blog article, I will continue my research into the subject, “What influences human behaviour?” As I indicated in my last post, human and social behaviour is a large and complicated subject that cannot be summarized into a particular issue. So, I will be looking into three primary variables that determine social behaviour. Furthermore, please keep in mind that social behaviour is impacted by a range of aspects and experiences that differ from person to person, such as culture, customs, and surroundings. These experiences may not apply to everyone.

1. What is social influence?

I feel this is an essential issue for discussion to acquire a better understanding of how different social environments affect different people. During my study on this topic, I will look at how an individual’s employment, educational background, and other factors influence them.  In general, I want to investigate what social impact is and why it is important in how we respond to and adjust to our surroundings.

2. How and what factors affect the way we act?

This is the question I will spend the most time examining along with studying. Some of the subjects I will be looking into will be related to the majority of my study on my first question and will simply be a continuation of my inquiry. I also intend to evaluate the “types” of social influence, as well as what elements genuinely influence our way of thinking and how our views affect others.

3. How can we positively affect others?

Abuse, exclusion, and bullying may all affect a person’s attitude and thought processes. So, can we positively influence others? This will be the primary focus of my research while examining this question. Furthermore, I picked this topic because it would help me understand how I might assist others who are having difficulty adapting to and dealing with new environments.

These are the sources I will use during this inquiry:

Finally, I hope that this investigation may assist our community in promoting a healthy and inclusive environment for all people. As well as individuals who have gone through not just traumatic but also tough circumstances in their lives. Furthermore, we may educate kids of all grade levels to understand and respond to obstacles in a responsible manner, as well as to persist. This is not intended to discriminate against anyone who has experienced conflict, inequality, or abuse of any type, but rather to assist others in comprehending the different perspectives of others.

  1. I find your topic very interesting and I’m excited to read more about your research. I appreciated your comment that each individual differs and that not all experiences or factors will affect everyone in the same way.

I think it would be interesting if you could incorporate a bit of research on how human behaviour or societal norms have changed over time. We as a society have changed and adapted a lot and have shifted our priorities/ standards over the years. Answering/researching a question like…
“In what ways are women viewed differently now versus a hundred years ago?”
Analyzing this topic will add a layer of research to your question and allow for a better understanding of the factors that change us as a society.
