Topic: Classification in Plants

Comment from Ms. Stuart:
The Kenyan students have been working on making presentations about a topic that they were finding a bit difficult in school. They are now busy writing exams and so I’m putting their slide shows up so that students from Charles Best can see where they are at in the process. None of the slide shows are complete, but we are hoping to finish them on October 25th when the students are done their exams. If you have any thoughts or ideas, please leave the students a comment.

  1. Hello, Najma!
Your google slides are very informative and thought provoking! Keep up with the great work! I did know that there were different types of plants, but I did not know their specific names and their differences. I am looking forward to your future blog posts! I am noticing that you still have not finished the slide about Pteridophyte, so here are some websites that might help you with your researches:

  2. Hello Najma

Your slides are informative and well organized and thought out. I do not know much about plants, so some of the terms like “thaloid membrane” and “Vascular muscles” are foreign to me. It would be incredibly helpful if there was a slide with some definitions, and maybe origins of some of the plant type names. Regardless, I look forward to watching the finished presentation!
