COMMUNICATION

We are finishing this term at the end of October,so we don’t have enough time to do a full inqiry project instead we are going to teach about a tpoic one of our courses that we find difficult.

My topic is communication (mordern means) in history grade 9. Why some people find is topic is that you need to know the different types of communication, the origin of communication the positive and negative impacts of communication. This topic can be engaging when you are able to get good examples for teaching. Also you need to know the person who invented the type of communication. As for me I practise this topic and right I know I can teach someone.

  1. Hi Mary,

I really enjoyed reading your post because you thoroughly explained the sub categories to fully answer this question. For example, you included the different types of communication, the origin of communication and the positive and negative impacts of communication. This post stood out to me because I value communication because it plays a vital role in our community. Many global issues are still happening due to lack of communication. For example, environmental damages, inefficient healthcare, mental health challenges, divorce, and discrimination. I also appreciate how you added an image because it showed me the different ways to communicate with technology for example, forwarding, replaying, downloading, messaging, emailing, etc. Some questions I have for you are: what does effective communication look like? How is communication online different from communication in-person? Why is our community lacking communication with each other?
