My name is Lily Phan, thirteen years old and attend Charles Best Secondary School. My favourite subjects are English and French. This is my first year in this program, and looking forward to researching and writing about issues that interest me.
Some information about myself, I was born in Vietnam but immigrated to Canada when I was three years old. I love eating Vietnamese dishes like pho, cha gio (spring rolls), and bum thit noung ( grilled meat with rice noodles) on a rainy day. Furthermore, I love to read and draw in my spare time. Some of my favourite books I like to binge are Before the Coffee Gets Cold, If You Could See the Sun and Convenience Store Woman
If I could have any career, I would be a psychologist since human behaviour has always piqued my interest. Additionally, many people suffer from a variety of mental problems and lack the support or assistance required to overcome these disorders, which can lead to harmful coping strategies. By pursuing this professional path, I hope to encourage and aid individuals in need of guidance in overcoming any obstacles they may encounter.
