Systems in the body have to work together for internal stability and balance. In my first research I got to know how digestive system work together with circulatory system to provide nutrients in the body. I proceeded in learning how circulatory system work together with excretory system in research round # 2. My interest now is to know how circulatory system is related to respiratory system.
The respiratory system is a combination of many organs and tissues which helps in breathing.(1) It is made of nose, trachea, bronchus, lungs, bronchioles and alveoli.(1) It takes fresh air into the body and removes the waste gas. Circulatory system is a system that helps in transportation of blood through out the body to provide nutrients and oxygen to the tissues. It is made up of heart and blood vessels.(1) These systems are related since they are concerned with transportation of oxygen in the body. These systems are connected at the lungs.(2)They work together where the respiratory system supplies oxygen it gets from the air into the bloodstream and the circulatory system pumps blood around the body using the oxygen.(2)The respiratory system cleans and gets oxygen from the air to the lungs. The circulatory system takes oxygen and transports it to all tissues.(3)They are also involved in removing waste products out of the body.(3) Oxygen is being breathed in and then brought to every cell in the the body and then the cells use the oxygen and produce carbon dioxide as a waste product . The carbon dioxide is picked up by the blood and taken back to the lungs to be drooped off and then we breath it out. The circulatory has many blood vessels one of them being arteries.(4) Pulmonary artery takes deoxygenated blood from the heart to the lungs where it gets oxygenated and then taken back to the heart through pulmonary vein. It is then pumped to other parts of the body through aorta.(4)
Respiratory system provides oxygen while circulatory system transport oxygen to the cells. The coordination of these systems helps in transportation of blood which supplies nutrients and removes waste from the body. Were it not that the body systems work together no one can survive. As the coordination of the systems is concerned ,the connection of them to cells is very important.
