1.Provide three steps for your research with a brief explanation of how this information will lead to addressing your question.
Step #1: My first step is to research what Auto-immune disorders are in general, what classifies a disease as autoimmune and what some common ones are. I’m doing this in order to help others and myself gain a better idea of what these diseases are and spread awareness for matters like these. In addition, this will help create a base which I can build my research on.
Step #2: Secondly I will choose 2 autoimmune disorders that are mainly common in adolescence, one rare and one common, and list what they are. Comparing them to each other, their cures, current research on them, and other fields, facts, and concerns which relate to them.I believe that by doing this the readers and I can get a sense of how different auto-immune diseases can be, how drastically they can range in severity, and etc. In addition, by comparing the different diseases we can come up with more data to research and question which is always encouraged in topics like this.
Step #3: Thirdly I will gather any information, comments, questions, data, etc, and ask a professional immunologist whom I have the pleasure to know, and get both fact checked and personal insights on the topic of Auto-immune disorders.By doing this, I am hoping to encourage more active research on such topics and see what a professional thinks as opposed to a computer.

3. Explain how this question will have implications to other individuals and/or my community.
In our current Covid-19 society, we don’t really bat an eye at rare diseases or things of the like. By doing research on rare disorders and diseases, I will be able to raise awareness for those in my community who do live with these rare disorders and help those who surround them understand what they are and how they affect day to day living.
