How will this question have implications to other individuals and/or the community?
Most of the times, one’s thoughts are self-focused. However, through practicing mindfulness, we learn to be aware of what’s happening around us without judgement. With this skill, we can improve our personal life in many ways like reducing our stress and better regulating our emotions. While we enhance our own health and well-being, we also enhance the way we view the world and communicate with others. Research has shown that by practicing mindfulness, we become a better listener and understand the relationships in our lives better. When we are able to maintain our own health and wellbeing, we can then take the time to help others and notice what is going on in their lives, and try to make a difference for them. Mindfulness allows us to be objective, by doing so, we are able to make a difference in our own lives and influence the others around us.
Hi Jade,
Your inquiry question is very interesting. A question I have is how do we have a positive mindset? There are many of negativity which makes it hard to have positive mindfulness. Maybe you can add tips on how to have a positive mindset.
