Blog #6: Reflection
a. What challenges did you overcome throughout this inquiry project? How did you go about overcoming these challenges?

While working throughly this inquiry project, one of the challenges I had overcome was the lack of finding various information about the topic. I would find lots of repetitive answers, so there were difficulties searching up new websites and articles. For instance, when I research about the pros and cons of technology, most of the answers would completely be the same. Another problem I had faced was the lack of creative responses to some of my questions, or some of them would be inaccurate as they were somewhat old, therefore some would have altered today. The last challenge was trying to detect answers which not many people know about, because this is an informative project, I supposed it could have been better if I balanced more with unknown informations, and providing events that are happening around the world. I tried researching in different words, yet similar content.

b. How did this inquiry change the way you think?

This inquiry really had an impact on me by showing how badly me and the society have been addicted, and overly dependent on technology. I also learned that technology is not extremely useless regardless of it having negative effects on us. It is also appropriate to accept the fact that we need technology for convenience. Therefore, this inquiry changed my thinking that it is not all bad.

c. How did this investigation impact your future decisions?

It specifically targeted my future decisions as technology has a role on working some jobs such as a waitress, a cashier and etc. In consequence, I have been thinking about a career which even advanced robots are not capable of doing so. For example, becoming a doctor is not easy for a robot and going to medical school was apart of my dream job.

d. What impact will this investigation have on others locally and/or globally?

This investigation will individually help to take care of themselves and warn them to be more safer around technology usage. Globally, people would become aware by now of how our daily lives have been impacted using technology. I hope this investigation or information will help/warn engineers and governments to either make more robots or consider a limited amount of them in the future, in order to not be in danger by any malfunctions.
