Hello everyone, my name is Tiffany and I’m currently in 9th grade attending at Dr. Charles Best Secondary school. I usually prefer biology science at school, but unfortunately I’m not assigned to that this semester.
I am born in Korea and moved here to Canada 6 years ago with my family. In Korea culture, we have a former traditional clothing called “Hanbok” and we wear them on Korean holidays or on special occasions. The last time I wore one was when I was a child. I also love and miss traditional Korean food as some of them tastes different in here. I want to inspire and influence other people as we donate to not so well countries such as Kenya, and that is why I chose this course.
One of my passions is to give love and support to people, therefore my dream job is becoming a doctor as it cures people and give them second chances in life. I expect social responsibility to take me to a place where I can experience intimacy with various countries and people. My other hobbies are reading, playing sports, piano and baking. In my opinion, the word “community” means doing something such as an activity among everyone as a team. Meanwhile, a “global community” is a group that interacts with one another globally. In the world, the problem I would like to solve is putting justice and peace against violence that is occurring.
Thank you so much for reading my story!
I hope that you learned something about me and that we can get along throughout the year. 🙂
Hi Tiffany,
I enjoyed reading your about me post. I like the goals you have and beliefs in helping people around the world, it’s very heart warming to hear. I have also put thought into becoming a doctor one day!
