“To what extent does gender discrimination influence the world and people in our society?”
I chose to do my research on “gender inequality” and how it influences not just the people in our society, but the whole world. I found it interesting because gender inequality is one of the biggest problems around the world that need to be knowledgeable.
Anyhow, I did a little sneak peek into the topic and from that, I learned that Gender inequalities do not exist because a country is not as developed or modern compared to other countries, but it happens because of certain people’s mentalities. Anyhow, by choosing this topic, I want to expand more on the idea that Gender Discrimination is affecting a lot of the people around us and the world. As I have a passion for social sciences, human rights have always been one of my interests. I always look for opportunities to learn about unfairness around the world and sharing them with others. I’m also the kind of person who treats everyone the same and I want to know how the rest of the world treats each other. And so researching the consequences that gender discrimination has on the lives of women, men, and even young children would build up my knowledge about the injustices taking place in the world.
