Hi! My name is Victor Tenea, I’m fourteen years old (turning fifteen in late February) and I’m in Grade 9. I currently attend school at Dr. Charles Best Secondary in Coquitlam, BC, Canada, and am enrolled in the french-immersion course. My favorite subjects at school are English and Math and my least favorite is Communications.
During my free time I love going out with my friends, watching YouTube, watching shows, playing video games, playing basketball and watching basketball. My favorite shows are: Game of Thrones, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, The Seven Deadly Sins, Bojack Horseman, Family Guy and The Office US. My favorite video games are: Watch Dogs 1 and 2, Grand Theft Auto 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, Overwatch, The Witcher 3, Dragon Age Inquisiton, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Hitman 2016 and so many more. My two favorite basketball teams are the Toronto Raptors and the Houston Rockets and my favorite player is James Harden.
I joined Butterfly Effect because I believe in the same values. I believe very strongly in protecting the environment and the creatures living in it. Recently, many animal species have gone extinct or are on the verge of becoming extinct. Some researchers even say that by 2050, 30%-50% of the Earth’s species will have gone extinct. 30%-50%! That’s crazy! And while I know I can’t make that big of a difference, I know every little bit counts. And that’s why I joined Butterfly Effect.
